Dababneh, State Assembly Declare April Financial Fitness Month

(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Matt Dababneh (D-Encino) wants to boost financial literacy among Californians, especially young people. That’s why he authored Assembly Concurrent Resolution 53 (ACR 53), a measure declaring April 2017 as Financial Fitness Month. Assemblymember Dababneh, the Chair of the Assembly Banking and Finance Committee, says ACR 53 will raise public awareness about the continuing need for increased financial literacy, “Solid financial education is necessary to succeed in our 21st century economy. Too many Californians today lack the financial know how to understand their credit score, manage student loans or even open a bank account.” Learn more in this Assembly Access video.
