SACRAMENTO—Assemblymember James C. Ramos (D-Highland) today announced Wendy Bryant has been hired as his scheduler. She started her new position on Nov. 23 and replaces Dane Sherman who left earlier this year.

Bryant’s most recently managed the schedules for Debra Gravert, the Assembly’s chief administrative officer, and Lia Lopez, the Assembly’s deputy administrative officer. Previous experience also includes performing as administrative branch manager for the Employment Training Panel at the Labor and Workforce Development Agency. While there, she also served as special assistant/scheduler and managed the calendars for the secretary and undersecretary. In addition, Bryant was the executive staff liaison for the Governor’s Office, cabinet members, agency and department executive staff and a legislative coordinator. Bryant also served as a special assistant/scheduler in the legislative unit during Jerry Brown’s tenure as governor and in the then-Speaker’s Office of Member Services.
Bryant said, “I’m very excited to be joining Assemblymember Ramos and his team.” In her off time, Bryant said she “loves the outdoors, hiking and paddle boarding.”
